Alpha Digital Dvd Sony Dslr-a700 I Need Help With Low Light Photography Camera Settings. I Am Using A Sony Alpha 200 Digital?

I need help with low light photography camera settings. I am using a Sony Alpha 200 digital? - alpha digital dvd sony dslr-a700

I do not use a flash. I've photographed bands live in developing countries nightclub. Most of my pictures come out grainy and my motives in motion on the stage were blurry. I have the best luck with the ISO higher and the selection of the default setting in my camera. This is blurring, but the pictures are very grainy and not sharp. Suggestions?

They do not tell you what lens so that the measures I guess the 18-70mm
f3.5/5.6 lens that comes with the camera. Although their aim is not bad, not very suitable for low light conditions, do not use the flash. Conditions as they require quick goal at the low ISO settings and gives you a faster shutter speed to keep.

I suggest buying a Minolta 50mm F1.4 lens equivalent .* A 50mm lens on the A200 has a 75mm lens. How does this help? The 2 F1.4 Lens 2 / 3 stops faster faster than the 18-70mm at 18mm end (F3.5) and 4 stations in the last 70mm (f5.6). Here are some hypothetical examples are available, the importance of the speed of the lens:

ISO 400

F1.4 @ 1 / 125 sec.
~ F3.5 @ 1 / 20 sec.
f5.6 at 1 / 8 sec.

ISO 800

F1.4 @ 1 / 250 sec.
~ F3.5 @ 1 / 40 sec.
f5.6 at 1 / 15 sec.

ISO 1600

F1.4 @ 1 / 500 sec.
~ F3.5 @ 1 / 80 Se.
f5.6 at 1 / 30 sec.

As you easily see all of his on the speed of the lens. You can click on the lowest ISO that the picture quality could be improved, while maintaining maintaning a shutter speed faster.

Another advantage of an F1.4 lens is a bright viewfinder image that aids composition and the camera auto-focus.

Of course, a target fixed focal length is not as versatile as a zoom, but you can do what we do when there are no zoom lenses - they closer or farther away.

"Best wide-angle lens? Two steps backward. Cherchez la ah-ha". "Ernst Haas.

To use when recording, the built-in noise reduction.

Shot in aperture priority mode with the goal wide open and let the camera take care of the shutter speed.

That is the dilemma. High ISO results in grainy images. Adding Flash (light), which can shoot low ISO.

But Flash does harsh shadows. The bands I like shooting scenes for high ISO. In spite of granularity, they look more natural. In addition, the blur can be a specific effect.

I agree with you, do not use the flash. Living with the grain.

Sometimes I have spoken with the kind of lighting and working with them. Whether providing a few seconds periodically flashes of white light or late. The constant changes of color really screw controls the exposure of my camera.

I just through them. Set your camera to "M" or "Manual" mode. Insert your SS number (2-3 stops) compared to what the camera is recommended. Make sure you are at their lowest F / Stop. Ask your ISO as high as it can go.
The only solution to the grain (noise) is a program for noise reduction, or to do the best case, Photoshop. If you is not PS, the pretty shitty. Sorry.
